The foundation 'Friends for Romania' has been set op to support Romanian families. Principally they are poor, big families, where is much poverty and illness. Sometimes, a family lives together with ten persons in one or two rooms. In Romania the unemployment is very big and when there is work, the reward is very little.

To give food parcels to these poor Romanian families. Help to start new little business, so that our friends can function by there self in the future and make live easier for these families.

Specific for this foundation is to give help in a little way and we have a contact person in Romania, called Dumitru Marcu. He distribute the food parcels, knows the families and look in what situation they are and do this every month. In each family we look what they need. From out of our own experience of the last years, the help comes to the right places.
