Poll Romanian youth

During the last summer camp this year, the Romanian youth was asked to write down what they would like to see change in there neighbourhood (Brasov).

Florin, one leader of the youth said that there is a need for pastoral help.
Alex would like to see that there will come some help for the children who live on the street in Brasov.
Christina said that the handicapped people in the church need more help.
Some of the youth asked for spiritual parents, to talk about their problems and can pray together.
But there where many more things what where on their minds.
Knowing all these things, the foundation can try to do something about it.

At the end of December, some of the committee of the foundation will go, together with some youth, to Romania.
The committee will stay in the apartment of the church in Brasov and the youth will stay by one of the Romanian youth who they met during the summer camp and where they had a good relation with.
The intention is to talk with the committee of the church about some of the things what the Romanian youth would like to see change.
Especially the point of pastoral help, we would like to talk about.
Kees van de Sande had made a pastoral course in the Romanian language and we send it forward to the committee of the church so they can read it before we will talk about this.
At this moment the Romanian families are visit by someone of the church but there is not real pastoral help.

Of course we will try to visit most of the families who are supported by the foundation to see how are they doing know. Some live in a wooden barn in a miserable situation. We will see how we get them true the winter. All what we like to do, we will first talk it over with our contact persons and the church in Brasov.

We will certainly let you know what we will do in the future and we will asked you to pray for us when we will make the journey and for wisdom so that we can help these people in the right way in there circumstances and spiritual needs.
