Our families
At this moment we totally have 18 families who are supported by the foundation. They get every month a foodparcel and they can use domestic merchandise they borrow from the foundation.
These are cupboards, cooking-range, washing machines, dinner-table, beds, etc. Not every family gets every month a foodparcel but there is a roulation system. One month 12 families get a foodparcel and the next month the other families get their foodparcel. This happened every time and their situation will be regularly watched by our contact persons in Brasov. They meet regularly about this subject with the Counsel of the local church.

The Haghel family

The Haghel family is a family who had many support of our foundation because all the boys have muscle dystrophy. With the help of rolators and wheelchairs the boys move around the apartment. When they play they roll over the floor and this is too cold for them because of their illness.Father Haghel asked us to help him financially to buy a parketfloor. This is warmer and the boys can easier move around the apartment. During the next trip Wouko will go to the Haghel family and watch the situation.

The Panosche family

Adina, the eldest daughter of the family who can study with the help of our foundation, asked us if we can help her to become a computer for learning. During the last meeting of the Board we all agreed to buy a new computer, so that in the future the other kids can also use it.

Next trip to Roumenia

The next journey to Romania will be from 21 December till 30 December this year. Wouko will take his daughter Anita, Sandra Eikelboom and Johanan de Vos with him on the next trip. Their will be make new photo's of the families and off the new families and they will look after their situation.
Gabi, one of our contact persons sends us regularly a report of the situation of the families by e-mail. So we always know what is going on in Brasov. The next trip Wouko will be busy.
At this moment Wouko use a dictemachine. He talks into that machine some details of a family situation and the action required to improve that particular situation. When he is home again, the tape can be listened at and so nothing can be forgotten.

Summercamp 2003

The reactions at the end of the last summercamp were very positive and we like to see of it is possibly to organize another summercamp together with the Romanian youth. These youth built a specially tie of friendship
with our youth during the last summercamp and it cost some tears when they said goodbye. On our website you can read a journey report of one of our youth members.
